I believe in a holistic approach to massage therapy.
By combining my knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology with a compassionate, client-centered philosophy, I am able to offer a unique blend of structural and energetic massage to relieve chronic physical and emotional pain.
Each session is tailored to the individual, ensuring a customized treatment plan that addresses specific concerns and promotes overall well-being.
Modalities
-
Hellerwork is a powerful system of somatic education and structural bodywork, based on the inseparability of body, mind, and spirit. The body is seen as one connected system, where all parts are considered when assessing how to address the issue(s) at hand.
This type of work is a slow, deep massage. I am tuning into what your body and energy are telling me. Tension in the muscles and connective tissue (fascia) are released, lengthened, and balanced. Skillful touch guides me to work at a level which allows the body to feel safe and able to let go.
-
Deep relaxation massage is all about slowing everything down—your body, your breath, your mind.
Intentional and rhythmic movements lull your nervous system into a state of safety and release. The key is gentle awareness and total presence from me as I tend to you. -
Grief massage is specifically designed to help individuals cope with loss (i.e. death, divorce, loss, or other significant life changes).
When grieving there is not only an emotional experience, but also a physical one. Grief can manifest in the body through tension, pain, fatigue, and other seemingly non-related symptoms.By providing a space where all emotions are welcome, supported, and nurtured, I will assist in the decompression of the nervous system by using my own series of customized techniques.

About Me
I’m a Central Pennsylvania native who took up residence in the Pacific Northwest in my early 20s. It was in Seattle that I studied massage therapy. Shortly after I became licensed I was taken under the wing of Joseph Hunton, one of this country’s leading Hellerwork therapists/instructors. His mentorship taught me to expand my understanding of how the body interacts with not just enviemotion as well as environment. I began to incorporate energy work and intuition. This is what makes my method so personal.
My sessions are somewhat of a dance between your being and mine.
It is sacred work.
When not massaging, I’m most content when exploring and photographing nature, going on random adventures with friends, and goofing off with Utah and Nola (two of the best doggos in town).
